Eyup Gunes is born and bred in Amsterdam. Before turning freelance in 2011, he worked and trained at Toni&Guy where he became the key Style Director and “anchorman” for the prestigious international company for 16 years.

“Solid as a rock” is how we describe his uncompromising quality and consistency. His precision and attention to detail make it a pleasure to watch him work.

Classically trained in London, he contributed to many seasonal collections before being promoted to Trainer at the Toni&Guy Academy Amsterdam. As mentor to a generation of young T&G hairstylists, he has collaborated with Tigi, Loreal, Wella, Schwarzkopf and Fudge.

Now represented by Wild Romance, his focus remains on craft and education. His short edgy cuts and long glamorous looks guarantee that his clients never leave the chair without a smile on their pretty faces…
