To me, working as a hairdresser is the best job in the world. It’s all about connecting with people, helping them find their inner confidence, while also providing them with an oasis in their day—a time to relax and reflect.
I first started working as a freelance hairdresser back in 2013, in my hometown Olympia Washington—a quirky little city about an hour south of Seattle. In my time there, I attended many classes and developed my craft in creative cuts and color. Dry hair cutting and “lived in color” are just a couple of my specialties. I love creating a complimentary but effortless look for my guests.
As a new transplant to The Netherlands, I’m excited for all the possibilities Amsterdam has to offer. From culture and fashion to meeting people coming from all around the world. And with English being my only language, I thought Amsterdam would be the perfect fit to start anew.
Communication is important to me as a hairdresser. With that being said, I aim to listen to my clients’ wants and needs, and make sure that they’re reflected in the final product. As well as a proper consultation, I also consider education a key part of the service I provide, ensuring that my clients leave with a better understanding of their own hair and how to care for it.
Whether your aim is to try something new with your look or maintain healthy hair that is effortlessly styled, I’d love to meet you!
